We had such a wonderful day yesterday with Attilio and with the incredibly knowledgeable guide to Pompeii who you arranged to tour with us. Thank you. It was a true delight. Attilio was so friendly and responsive to anything we needed and asked. He made the day exactly what we wanted it to be. Such a gift. Thank you for your wonderful work and help.
Today was the most beautiful day for several reasons. First of course was the scenic views. Second was the most informative guided tour of Pompeii. We learned so much. Lena(sp?) was amazing. But truly without doubt, the reason this day will remain one of our fondest memories is our guide, Enrico. Upbeat, informative and so personable. We had an issue that Enrico took to heart and helped us resolve it. How grateful we are that he extended himself for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You absolutely must book with Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours. I never leave reviews, and I’m not just saying that, however I felt compelled to share how wonderful our experience was. We had Gio as our tour guide/friend for the day. Gio felt more like a friend just hanging out and showing us some amazing parts of the coast, while giving us the historical and traditional highlights. He was so outgoing, welcoming and friendly and the spots we stopped at were amazing. He even took us to a less touristy location for lunch (I won’t ruin the surprise or post the name, so people don’t come on to it) and it was the best part of our trip!! Book with them, you will see the beauty of Amalfi from a company that appreciates “tourists” because they get to share their prideful home of the coast of Italy
I would like to highly recommend Gio Lovely Tours as an option for those looking for a private excursion other than an excursion provided by a cruise line. If you’re with a group of 4 or 6 or even 8, a comfortable Mercedes touring van is used for these tours. I can attest that over the years, Gio has been the most reliable and friendly tour guide and is very knowledgeable about the area. My family and friends have used this company for over 10 years! The company is well aware of cruise ship departure times and assure you of a timely return to the port to board your ship. We recently spent the day again with Gio after he picked us up at the port in Naples, Italy. What an exciting day touring the Amalfi Coast with stops that we chose to make and some that he recommended for photos opportunities. He even recommends great lunch venues if you’re looking for somewhere nice to eat on the Amalfi Coast. Pricing I feel is competitive so give them a call so they can make your day the most memorable!
My friends and I had a lovely time with our driver Emy in Rome. This was truly the best way to see the city and maximize our time. Emy took us to all the places we wished to see, gave us a great lunch recommendation and took us to a hidden gem we would have never thought to go to. Emy provided wonderful insight and impeccable driving along the way. Lovely Almafi Tours is a must do.

This was hands down the best tour we have ever been on! Communication was quick and easy from the beginning. They were sure to confirm our tour and my requests. We started off getting off on the wrong train stop, as I did not realize there were 2 Naples stops! Giovanni was so kind and flexible and ended up driving further out to come pick us up! He did not have to offer that because it was totally my fault, but I am so grateful that he did! He was very kind and welcoming. The van was comfortable and roomy. Right away Gio made us feel like family. We felt as though we were actually being shown around by a close friend or family member, rather than just a tour guide. He was fun and informative. As soon as he found out my husband's name was Rocky, he played "Eye of the Tiger" and they pretty much hit it off and became BFFs! We started in Pompeii, which was amazing! I highly recommend paying for the private tour guide, otherwise you will not really know what you are looking at. There is not much signage. I felt that you need the guide to explain things so you can fully appreciate where you are and what you are seeing. Next we started towards Amalfi coast and it was breath taking at every turn. We stopped at a lemon farm for a private lunch. What an experience! All the food was so fresh and the service was top notch! We literally felt as if we were having a meal at a relatives house. Just AMAZING! We continued on and Gio dropped us off in Positano for some shopping! After that we headed back to Naples. I was so sad that it was ending. It was our first full day of vacation, and what a way to start off! This company does not give tours, they give experiences! Amazing, unforgettable experiences, with memories to last a lifetime! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this trip so special! Don't hesitate to use them...just GO!

Had the best day ever with our tour guide Giovanni. We were picked up at the docks and he asked what would we like to see. We asked him what he recommended. We started out on a trip to Ravello. We walked and took pictures of the most beautiful gardens. After a little shopping we headed to Sorento. We stopped at a lemon tree farm and were treated to Italian delicacies. Giovanni was the most entertaining, fun loving young man. I would recommend him 100%.
Our day spent in the Napoli area was made more special because Giovanni made sure we had an excellent experience. His energy and sense of humor made our day so much more fun. I liked the company’s upfront pricing and loved where he took us for lunch. Would definitely recommend!
Enrich, Enrico, Enrico! Fabulous experience on a day trip direct from our doorstep to the lovely towns of Positano and Sorrento. A quiet delicious lunch spot shared with us overlooking Bikini beach was extra special with the most delicious paninis ! We opted for the tour guide at Pompeii, Mike, who shared so much with us that we would never have appreciated in our two hours otherwise. Another super delightful person. As soon as we were done in Pompeii Enrico was right there to meet us and return us back to our doorstep. We will never forget our time with Enrico, his knowledge of the area and the sharing of his family stories as well. We will definitely seek out Lovely Amalfi tours (and Enrico) on our future excursions. @Enrico, we will spend some time in Napoli next! Thank you for everything especially keeping my family safe and laughing the whole time!
Gio was the best tour guide we had on our day trip along the Amalfi Coast. He asked what we wanted to do and arranged it. He had us laughing but was also very informative with the different places we visited. Thank you Gio for making our last day here in Italy so memorable.
Giovanni and the entire team at Lovely Amalfi Tours are incredible. From the day we booked to the day we flew home the whole team made sure our trip was as amazing as possible. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Lovely Amalfi Tours went above and beyond. We thought we were just booking a tour, but in reality we ended up with a guide. Giovanni had all of the best recommendations for the area, set us up at an incredible restaurant during our tour and even called restaurants on our behalf to get us the best reservations after the tour was over. The tour was fun, informative, comfortable and safe. The Amalfi Coast is an intimidating drive, but Giovanni and his team are obviously experts at navigating the tough terrain. We had lots of laughs, chats and dancing with Giovanni throughout the tour and we can’t wait to come back to experience the breathtaking scenery with Lovely Amalfi Tours again soon. If you are planning a trip to Amalfi, Giovanni and his team should be the first call you make! My family and I were incredibly privileged to have had a guide as warm, knowledgable and welcoming as Giovanni. From his prompt arrival to his positive and friendly attitude, Giovanni made the trip an experience to never forget. Giovanni facilitated a seamless journey as we discovered the history of Naples, the beauty of the Amalfi coast, and the quant and breathtaking town of Sorrento. Giovanni communicated in a professional yet personable manner that captivated and enlightened us as we learnt about the profound history, culture and traditions of the area.
