Capri Walking Tour

You should reach , on your own, the port of Sorrento "Marina Piccola" or the Jetfoil Naples port called "Beverello port" where you'll meet your English speaking licensed guide holding a sign with your name in front of Capri Ticket office at the meeting time that you will see on your voucher . After a brief presentation your private guide will offer you important information about the tour and the places that you are going to visit.

Capri is a little island located near the Gulf of Naples, technically it is an extension of the Sorrento Peninsula. But it is today of one the most famous and important touristic place of all Italy. Situated in a deep sea, the island has hills and shores most of which due to their conformation are unaccesible, and under those hundreds of submarine grottos. The most important mountaines are Mt.Tiberio and Mt. Solaro, reachable from Anacapri the highest point of Capri. The Island of Capri guests a unique flora and faune both terrestrial and submarine, but it is even one of the most important place for the fashion. The best of both worlds.

The tour will start at 08:15 Am at the port of Sorrento/Naples with your local guide. Here you will take a ferry/Jetfoil to the Island which arrives there at around 9.00/9.30 Am. From there your next destination will be Anacapri, you will take the famous Funicular which is a more convenient way or the typical Capri taxi (small and open upside) that will assure you a very nice trip with the fee of 25€. Once reached the highest point of the Island, Anacapri, we will start our walking tour. First of all Anacapri and its sorroundings, with the chance to visit the famous Villa San Michele (a museum once owned by a swedish doctor and writer), and then take the “Seggiovia” (Chairlift) to the mount Solaro where you can take a stroll into the nature.Capri also very famous for its grottos like the "Blue Grotto", the underwater caves of the Green Grotto, where piercing green seas shine through a cave hole like a stain glassed window and the Coral Grotto shows off vibrant shades of orange coral which line the cave walls

At the 12:30 you will be taken to the town of Capri for an amazing lunch time, cooked with local ingredients. After that is time to walk again to the "Caesar Augustus gardens" a park from which you can enjoy the best spot to look to the Faraglioni, symbol of the Island.

At this point it’s time for a nice lunch, trust our staff and you will enjoy a incredible meal made by local ingredients, such as seafood and handmade fresh pasta. Alternatively you can have a pizza or a panino, something quicker but equally delicious.

After that it’s leisure time, we will go the port by Funiculare and here you can either go shopping to the famous brands shop, located in all the island or you can choose to take a nice boat trip all around the island.

In late afternoon after this lovely day spent walking all along the Capri Island, it is time to get back to Sorrento Port/Naples port. Your guide will help you to board on your Jetfoil/Ferry to get back to your starting port on your own.

General Informations

We reserve the right to cancel the tour, even on the scheduled day, according to weather and/or sea conditions. Jetfoils/Ferry do not sail with bad weather and /or rough sea conditions.

It is also true that the funicular becomes very busy at the end of the day with many rushing back to Naples, so again, we recommend that you leave in plenty of time.

We always try to make ticket reservations for Jetfoils/Ferry, however they do not guarantee the reservations for us, so we don't take any responsibility for missed hydrofoils or a fully booked ferry.

During your tour, we can stop at the Blue Grotto for a visit. You must transfer from our boat to one of the small rowboats, which are the only crafts able to enter the cave mouth.

Entrance to the Blue Grotto (Capri) is weather/sea condition dependent.

If you find that there is a long line at the funicular as you leave the island, we suggest you take a taxi. Even if we have a pre-purchased ticket , it is worth avoiding the line to ensure your spot on the Jetfoil/Ferry.

This tour may be shortened depending on weather, sea conditions and/or any other circumstance out of our control.

My family and I were incredibly privileged to have had a guide as warm, knowledgable and welcoming as Giovanni. From his prompt arrival to his positive and friendly attitude, Giovanni made the trip an experience to never forget. Giovanni facilitated a seamless journey as we discovered the history of Naples, the beauty of the Amalfi coast, and the quant and breathtaking town of Sorrento. Giovanni communicated in a professional yet personable manner that captivated and enlightened us as we learnt about the profound history, culture and traditions of the area. Not only were we able to make great use of our time thanks to Giovanni’s vast array of awareness with respect to the best locations to visit and explore, but he also treated us to incredible food that made the trip even more delightful. Giovanni is a lovely person and I would certainly recommend him to anyone thinking about visiting the south of Italy. He will truly make your experience worthwhile!

Amazing day with Giovani to the Almafi Coast and Ravello. My son chooses it, and booked ahead. It was breathtaking, amazing views. We took a train from Roma to Naples, then Giovani, our tour guy, was waiting for us at the train station. Giovani was a very nice, polite, smart and friendly person. In addition to his very friendly approach and good sense of humor, he makes us so comfortable. We were talking, laughing, and singing together. We feel like we have known him for a long time. We highly recommend it for sure. Blessed Day!🙏🏾

Look no further, Gio the singing Amalfi Coast tour guide is your man! From the moment we met Gio he was very personable, made sure he knew all our names and connected with each of us! He picked us up in style in his Mercedes van at our hotel and it was very comfortable. He is very passionate, experienced and knowledgeable about his job and the Campania region! We stopped at many scenic sites along the way where we could take the most amazing photos and of course with Gio too! He makes sure everyone is happy and comfortable. We stopped at a beautiful family owned restaurant along the Amalfi and had the best meal we've had in all of Italy! Anthony the owner was amazing! Excellent food and most beautiful views! We made it to Positano and Amalfi and spent our free time there to shop and see the sites. We didn't make it to Ravello because of the rain storm with hail. Yes in May!! However it was not storming in Gio's van! Just a lot of laughter and singing! Gio made our family vacation of 5 unforgettable and we will Treasure it forever. Your search is over, knowledge, experience and excellent prices!! Sandy from Huntsville, Ontario, Canada I 1109/100

from Almalfi coast and Rome

Giovanni was absolutely wonderful and entertaining for our guide for Amalfi coast and Sorrento, he showed us so much and took us to a spectacular mountain top restaurant. The views were outstanding. Carlo, our guide in Rome showed us more than we had ever seen, and is knowledge of the history was amazing. Both were so kind and professional, we could not have asked for more. I would recommend them to everyone!

Look no further! If you want an experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate Amalfi Coast Tour Guide, Geo is your man! Geo gave our family of five adults an experience to remember for a life time. He makes you feel comfortable and ensures to engage with everyone on a personal level by name. We toured Positano and Amalfi, but due to a hail storm May 13th, we felt it was unsafe to tour Ravello. We had a wonderful lunch just outside of Amalfi that was the best meal we had while in Italy at “Le Bonta del Capo” in Conca dei marini. A lovely family owned restaurant overlooking the sea. Anthony was very welcoming and the food specially sourced by his father was amazing! Geo had some great surprises for us along the way that I won’t give away so you’ll be just as surprised! I would highly recommend Geo the singing Lovely Amalfi Coast Tour Guide! Your search is over! 🇨🇦 ❤️ Sandy
